Anna Landre is a Georgetown University sophomore who has a rare disease, spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) and is a wheelchair user.  In addition to being a full time student, Anna serves as Commissioner of the Advisory Neighborhood Commission where she advocates for people with disabilities and to improve accessibility on the Georgetown campus and in the district.  She talks about educating elected officials about possible ways to overcome challenges for those in wheelchairs and raising awareness about those living with rare diseases.
