Amit Etkin MD PhD is a professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the Stanford School of Medicine and expert in the neural basis of emotional disorders.  He talks about a recent study published in Science Translational Medicine, of which he was the lead author physician, on his research that lead to the discovery of the first imaging biomaker for PTSD.  Using fMRI and TMS with EEG, Amit was able to identify which patients were most likely to be helped by different treatment plans for post-traumatic stress disorder.
